8.2
No
Action/Limit Level exceedance was recorded for air
quality (24-hr TSP) and construction noise.
8.3
For
1-hour TSP monitoring, no Action Level exceedance was
recorded. One Limit Level exceedance was recorded on
18 November 2013.
8.4
According
to the investigation, no dust generation works was conducted at near the
monitoring station during the monitoring and observable dust source from
construction activity under Contract No. HY/2011/09 was observed. Therefore,
the exceedance is considered not due to the Contract.
8.5
All
water quality monitoring was conducted as scheduled in the reporting month. There
are seven Action Level and six Limit Level exceedances for suspended solids were recorded.
8.6
According
to the investigation, no pollution discharge was observed from the site. In
addition, sediment plume due to natural fluctuation of shallow water and
localized plume in the monitoring area were observed. Water quality mitigation
measures such as casting and silt curtain were also properly implemented.
Therefore, the exceedances are considered not due to
the Contract.
8.7
One environmental
related complaint was received in the reporting month. The Complaint Log is
attached in Appendix P.
8.8
There
was no prosecution or notification of summons received since the Contract commencement.
